Foul Release coating protects equipment and facilities from fouling and bio adhesion. A Hydrophobic, low surface energy coating perfect for the waste-water industry. FRC provides a slick, non-stick surface that can be self cleaning with steady water flow over the surface. Other areas are easily cleaned with wiping and rinsing.

Prevents high solids build up by repelling all forms of soiling including sludge, algae, oil, grease, paint, mud, chemicals and waste. High gloss coating, with extreme protective qualities.

Whilst erosion and corrosion and physical damage pose a threat to many industries, the real issues are downtime, efficiency decline, profit and loss and safety hazards.

Foul Release non stick coating creates an abrasion resistant, slick surface that cleans easily, reducing equipment down time for maintenance.

Use on all internal and external surfaces including equipment and facilities (such as penstocks) where protection against contaminants and ease of removal of pollutants is required.

Due to its flexibility FRC can be applied to rubber gaiters and hoses where it will protect and repel all forms of soiling whilst flexing and stretching with movement without cracking or sparring.

Additional benefit of giving exceptional corrosion protection (equivalent protection as brittle epoxy coatings) to plant and equipment.

Will prevent the adhesion of Zebra Mussels which due to bio fouling capability can colonise underwater equipment and structures.

FRC is a environmentally sensitive coating, which is easy to apply, and cures and self levels to create a high gloss soil repellent finish giving exceptional protection to the surface.

FRC is available as clear and pigmented varieties. FRC is a one part product that requires to special surface preparation or primers. One applied it will tightly bond to substrates including:

Concrete surfaces.
Metal work including stainless steel and alloys.
GRP surfaces.
Sludge tanks.
Equipment, scrapers, stirrers.
Pumps and valves.
Penstocks.
Side overflow weirs.
Hoses, gaiters and electrical conduits.
Intake pipes and screens.
Painted surfaces.
Walls.
Plastic and rubberised surfaces.
Conveyors.

FRC is solvent free and can be used in sensitive areas where voc’s are problematic.

FRC is an environmentally sensitive coating that will tightly bond to the substrate and will flex and stretch with structural changes (such as gaiters) without cracking or sparring.

FRC can be supplied translucent or self coloured. FRC can easily be applied to any surface with no special prior treatment such as a primer. FRC is effective for approximately 10 years after application (subject to conditions and exposure).

After application FRC will self level and cure to a high gloss ‘mirror’ attractive architectural finish.

Due to its extreme hydrophobic and repellent properties it is believed that FRC will repel all forms of bio fouling and give exceptional protection to the surface against corrosion.

Exceptional easy clean washable surface.

FRC is ready to use. Do not dilute before use.
Shake/stir the container well before use. On external surfaces apply in dry weather or in a period when rain is not predicted for 12 hours. Do not apply when temperature is less than 50C.
Ensure that the surface to be treated is clean, dust free and dry before applying the product.
Contact and cross contamination with solvent borne residues in application equipment must be avoided.
Apply with a roller or brush at recommended application rate. It will self level and create a high gloss mirror finish.
Drying time 4 hours. Full cure achieved in 7 days.
Wait for 1 to 7 days for best effect to be noticed.
